The Role
Location: Harrogate, England
We are currently recruiting for a highly skilled and experienced Master Ceramist for a leading dental laboratory. This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to the creation of high-quality, aesthetically pleasing dental prosthetics and restorations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Fabricate a wide range of dental prosthetics, including crowns, bridges, veneers, and implant restorations.
* Accurately interpret dental prescriptions and specifications.
* Match patient's natural teeth to colour guides, creating lifelike restorations.
* Perform ceramic build-ups for single to full arch cases.
* Apply advanced techniques in layering, staining, and glazing.
* Utilize various materials, including porcelain, acrylic, and zirconia.
* Collaborate with dental technicians and dentists to ensure proper fit and aesthetics.
* Maintain strict quality control procedures and attention to detail.
* Stay current with the latest advancements in dental ceramics and materials.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Minimum 5 years' experience as a dental ceramist, with a proven track record of excellence.
* Advanced knowledge of dental anatomy, occlusion, and aesthetics.
* Proficiency in all aspects of ceramic work, including implant cases, smile design, and veneers.
* Strong artistic aptitude and colour-matching abilities.
* Experience with CAD/CAM technology preferred.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Education and Certification:
* Foundation Degree in Dental Laboratory Technology preferred.
* Certified Dental Technician (CDT) certification highly desirable.
Compensation and Benefits:
* Salary: £42,000 - £50,000 per year (depending on experience).
