TheRole:
As a Project Engineer youwill be responsible for scoping pricing winning and delivering arange of turnkey construction projects ensuring that work iscompleted on time on budget and to a high standard.
Supported by a team you will use your knowledgeto come up with creative technical solutions for the treatment andmanagement of sewage surface water and potable water.
This is a hugely varied and handson positionwhere as technical lead on projects youll play a crucial role inshaping our projects and developing our business. No two days arethe same.
Youll be part of a team who are aspassionate about what they do as you are and youll be supportedevery step of the way.
Your responsibilities willinclude:
* Carrying out surveys ofproperties to establish functionality and compliance of existingdrainage and waterrelatedinfrastructure.
* Developing and winning apipeline of work across domestic and commercial projects.
* Preparing site plans drainage layouts drainagereports and asset audits for distribution andrecording.
* Using your knowledge of sewagetreatment and water management processes to design and developcompliant and costeffective technicalsolutions.
* Creating bills of materials andresource plans and preparing estimates and tenderdocuments.
* Liaising with regulatory bodies andmonitoring health and safety procedures and best practice acrossall projects.
ThePerson:
The ideal candidate willhave:
* Solid experience in projectmanagement within the water and wastewatersector.
* A degree in Civil EngineeringEnvironmental Engineering or a related field.
* Aknack for problemsolving and developing creative technicalsolutions.
* Proficiency in preparing estimatesresource plans and project documentation.
* Greatcommunication skills and the ability to work well withothers.
* A proactive cando attitude and thewillingness to get stuck in.
* Valid driverslicence and willingness to travel to various sites asrequired.
