Job Description QHSE Engineer - Local Manufacturer
As a QHSE Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing workplace safety, ensuring compliance regulations, and managing quality standards. You will review risk assessments, monitor operations for adherence to QHSE policies, and address any non-conformities. Collaboration is key in this role, you will hold meetings with teams to provide guidance on safety practices, conducting inspections, and liaising with external auditors or regulatory bodies. This role is dynamic, requiring quick decision making and attention to detail to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
Requirements
Mechanical Engineering qualification
Manufacturing background
NEBOSH Gen Cert
ISO9001 Lead Auditor
Understanding of different metals/materials
Non Destructive Equipment – nice to have
Environmental qualifications/experience – nice to have
