As a Principal Analyst Programmer on this short-term contract, you'll work closely with one of our key clients, actively engaging with stakeholders to improve and lead on the development and interoperability of corporate clinical and departmental systems to support their key business and clinical objectives.
This role requires a developer with robust ASP.NET and .NET Core skills, ready to take on a short-term position in a fast-paced, dynamic healthcare environment.
With a focus on healthcare, you'll support organisations like the NHS Trusts in ensuring accurate and reliable data for improved patient care and population health management. Our comprehensive approach empowers clients to establish sustainable data quality, enabling them to unlock insights, enhance operational efficiencies, and deliver better outcomes. Responsibilities
1. Manage the development process and technical staff, ensuring all team members have the necessary skills to meet IT requirements.
2. Take charge of core Health Board IT systems, managing enhancements, bug-fixes, system performance, and technical issues.
3. Represent the Applications and Development Teams in various forums, liaising with other departments on IT issues.
4. Demonstrate and apply specialist knowledge in system development and interoperability, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft.NET and .NET Core.
5. Conduct system analysis, design, build, testing, documentation, and optimization.
6. Ensure adherence to Agile project management methodology and quality control procedures.
7. Provide leadership and technical guidance to the development team.
8. Keep up to date with new technologies and proactively develop strategies to improve IT systems and processes.
We are looking for
1. Strong experience in .NET and .NET Core for systems and API development.
2. Proficiency in system analysis, design, and development using formal methodologies.
3. Experience managing software development projects within a large, complex organization, preferably in a healthcare setting.
4. Knowledge of Agile project management.
5. Ability to provide technical support and training to development staff.
