Join our team as an After-Hours Residential Youth Support Worker and help make a difference during the night shift. We're looking for permanent part-time and casual workers to work shifts from approx. 9 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM in our Geelong region.
About the Role :
As an After-Hours Residential Youth Support Worker, you’ll play a key role in ensuring that our services are always available to young people who need support—no matter the time of day or night! You’ll provide emotional, social, and behavioral support to the young people in our care, adapting to new situations and learning as you go.
Each shift will be different, and you’ll get to :
* Build strong, trusting relationships with young people by being flexible, understanding, and approachable.
* Handle administrative tasks like working on computers, updating records, and collaborating with case workers, residential staff, service providers, and families.
* Work with a team that’s dedicated to creating a safe and supportive environment for the young people in our care.

* Competitive Hourly Rate between $34.46 and $40.05, with pay dependent on your qualifications and experience. Night shift penalty rates for those late-night hours may also apply!

What We Need From You :
* A Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention (or similar qualification).
* A valid driver’s license (you’ll need it to get around).
* Working with Children Check, Criminal History Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Check (we’ll help with this if needed).
* A genuine passion for helping young people thrive and a caring heart.
* Empathy, with the ability to connect with young people in a non-judgmental way.
* Strong emotional self-regulation skills – you’ll be the steady hand that provides safety, consistency, and stability to those in your care.
