The Impact of the Role
As Credit Control Manager you will play a key role in leading, overseeing and supporting the Credit Control Team to ensure the timely collection of outstanding debts and minimise bad debt exposure. This role involves managing day-to-day operations, implementing efficient processes, and upholding company credit policies to maintain healthy cash flow.
What you will do:
* Drive Collection Success – Oversee and support the team in managing overdue accounts, negotiating settlements, and implementing recovery strategies.
* Stakeholder Collaboration – Work closely with internal teams and customers to resolve queries and enhance the credit control process.
* Team Leadership – Mentor, coach, and develop a strong credit control team, ensuring performance excellence.
* Strategic Insight – Analyse debtor trends, produce key reports, and recommend improvements to strengthen financial health.
* Process Innovation – Review and enhance credit control processes for maximum efficiency and compliance.
You will have:
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (or QBE with relevant experience in business partnering and financial reporting).
* Proven experience in credit control or accounts receivable, and stakeholder management.
* Strong system skills, including Excel, databases, and reporting tools.
* Excellent problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and a focus on continuous improvement.
* Ability to thrive under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple priorities effectively.
* A team player with strong interpersonal skills, capable of motivating and developing others.
