The London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) is one of the world’s leading public health universities.
We are seeking to appoint a Senior Assistant Project Manager for business change to join the Project Management Office (PMO), reporting directly to the Senior Project Manager Business Change.
PMO is responsible for delivering all of the organisation's strategic projects across a wide portfolio, and the successful candidate will be joining a close-knit team with diverse skill sets. You will be managing and delivering strategic business change projects by ensuring effective project plans are realised and risks, issues, budgets, quality, scope, and internal communications are actively monitored and managed.
You will be expected to work independently and be part of the team’s continual development. You should hold an undergraduate degree or have demonstrable and appropriate practical experience. You will have experience of managing strategic business change projects and working in a Prince2-based project environment, and will be expected to champion good practice across our organisation. The post is full-time (35 hours per week, 1 FTE) and permanent.
The salary will be on the Professional Services salary scale, Grade 6 in the range £44,847 - £50,808 per annum (inclusive of London Weighting). The post will be subject to the LSHTM terms and conditions of service. Annual leave entitlement is 30 working days per year, pro rata for part-time staff. In addition to this, there are discretionary “Wellbeing Days.” Membership of the Pension Scheme is available. The post is based in London.
