Key Responsibilities: As a Deputy Manager, you will be responsible for:
* Implementing the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum and ensuring high standards of care.
* Providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged birth to 5 years.
* Leading and supporting staff through team meetings and supervision.
* Leading the nursery in the absence of the manager, ensuring smooth daily operations.
* Overseeing the planning and delivery of age-appropriate activities to support holistic development.
* Building strong relationships with children, parents, and fellow team members.
The ideal candidate;
* Holds a minimum NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Childcare and Education.
* Has at least three years' experience working in a childcare setting, with two years in a supervisory or leadership role.
* Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of the EYFS framework and relevant childcare legislation.
* Possesses strong self-motivation and the ability to take initiative in a leadership capacity.
Desirable Qualifications:
* Level 5 or above in Leadership and Management in Early Years.
* Experience with Ofsted inspections, achieving Good or Outstanding ratings.
* Up-to-date First Aid and Safeguarding training.
