We're looking for enthusiastic, committed, and motivated children's nurses with a passion to deliver high-quality care to come and join our team. If you are a registered children's nurse we'd love to hear from you.
Our ward provides care to patients up to the age of 16 years with a wide range of acute and elective medical and surgical needs. We have 8 beds with 2 enhanced care cubicles and deliver level 1 & 2 care to children and their families. You can expect to care for children with bronchiolitis, diabetes, safeguarding needs, following orthopaedic surgery, and much more!
You will be supported by practice educators, band 6 senior nurses, lead nurses, matrons, and the wider multi-disciplinary team through your induction/preceptorship programme and on to reach your potential. We offer a bespoke paediatric mandatory training programme across children's services and support external study to help you flourish in your career.

You will:
1. Maintain a high standard of clinical work when carrying out nursing procedures.
2. Be responsible for the safe custody of medication, including checking and administration.

6. Contribute towards continuous service improvement and practice development.
