Our Learning Support Assistants work both inside and outside the classroom, on a one-to-one and group basis, supporting students with a wide range of special educational needs and disabilities. Working alongside class teachers and also within the Learning Support Hub, you will support students in their academic achievement, as well as with their mental health, wellbeing and inclusion. Our students cover the full range of abilities and no two days are the same. The role can be both challenging and rewarding and you will need to be proactive and motivated to effectively identify and support students’ needs. Ideally, we are looking for experienced candidates who hold a recognised teaching assistant qualification, but we are also committed to training our LSAs and developing their skills.
