JOB SUMMARY We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Finance Business Partner to join the Commercial Finance team and support the management of General and Administrative (G&A) costs. This role will serve as a key bridge between finance and non-finance departments across the business providing high quality financial insight and analysis to drive cost efficiency and ensure alignment with the companys strategic goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, excellent business acumen, and the ability to collaborate across functions to manage G&A costs effectively. 4 days office / 1 WFH Salary £75-85k MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Manage and track G&A costs, including but not limited to ESG, finance, IT, marketing, office management, people and development and projects. 2. Regular liaison with budget holders to ensure up to date understanding of their performance as well as budget/re-forecasts vs actual costs in Yardi. 3. Liaise with the Financial Accounts team to post any adjustments in Yardi including but not limited to PO accruals, recharges, segment corrections and nominal code corrections. 4. Provide quarterly, and annual reports on G&A expenditure and variance analysis, offering actionable insights and recommendations. Ensure clear and concise commentary on individual variances as well as high level top-line commentary for inclusion in management information presentations. 5. Present quarterly report to senior management explaining YTD performance vs budget/re-forecasts. 6. Identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and potential risks within G&A budgets and spending patterns. 7. Drive production of annual budget/re-forecasts, 10-year business plan and related analysis/insights by working closely with budget holders and supporting their team as required. Ensure alignment to the companys objectives and strategic goals. 8. Train and onboard budget holders to use forecasting tool (Anaplan) ahead of 2026 Business Plan. 9. Coach and mentor direct report and ensure they have an agreed learning and development roadmap in place and conduct half-yearly appraisals. 10. Support continuous improvement in G&A processes and workflows. 11. Contribute to finance systems discussions with a focus on efficiency and automation of key analysis. PERSON SPECIFICATION 1. Qualified accountant (or equivalent experience) with several years experience. 2. Experience in a business partnering role is advantageous. 3. Dynamic thinker with confidence to challenge conventional wisdom and ways of working. 4. Strong attention to detail figures/analysis produced are correct, underlying workbooks are neat and easy to follow, and analysis is written in clear, very concise manner. 5. Very organised with exceptional time management skills able to work under pressure, prioritising and meet competing deadlines. 6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with non-finance departments and senior management with the confidence to challenge assumptions. 7. Hunger to learn and develop. 8. Experience of Yardi and/or Anaplan is desirable but not essential.
