An exciting opportunity has become available for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to work for our NHS client based in London, Greater London. The post is available to start as soon as possible, offering full-time hours for a short-term contract.
What will your responsibilities be?
As a Band 6 Occupational Therapist working within a multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Your duties will include conducting comprehensive assessments, developing and implementing individualised treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care. You will also provide expert advice and support to patients and their families, facilitate discharge planning, and contribute to the continuous improvement of service delivery. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work effectively within a team, and a commitment to professional development.
Qualifications and Experiences:
1. HCPC registration
2. Experience in occupational therapy, ideally within a multidisciplinary team setting
3. Strong assessment, treatment planning, and intervention skills
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
5. Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated with the latest practices and guidelines in occupational therapy
