What you'll do As the FM Logistics and Automation Manager at Sainsbury's, you will be accountable for overseeing the operational service delivery of automated sites across the logistics estate, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and maintaining automation standards to support business operations. You will work closely with automation contractors to ensure service level adherence and quality assurance, proactively managing automation tasks and addressing aged work orders. Your role will involve identifying trends and priorities within asset categories, collaborating with contract managers to enhance service delivery, and taking the lead in resolving major automation incidents affecting trade. Additionally, you will manage and deliver automation revenue spend nationally, build relationships with key stakeholders, and strategically review lifecycle and spend to maximise efficiency and effectiveness in automation operations. Who you are As an experienced FM Logistics and Automation Manager, you are a strategic thinker with a proven track record in managing facilities management contracts, particularly in the logistics and automation sectors. With your expertise in executing capital investment projects and deep understanding of logistics operating models, you excel in building strong relationships with stakeholders and leading cross-functional teams to drive efficient service delivery and maximise operational efficiency. Your exceptional communication skills, financial acumen, and ability to analyse data and spot trends make you a valuable asset in managing the automation operational service delivery and ensuring compliance and safety standards are met across the logistics estate.
