Director, Health Outcomes Oncology
Location: GSK HQ London UK.

The Director of Health Outcomes, Oncology will be responsible for the leadership of health outcomes strategy and implementation of the varied GSK oncology portfolio and fast-moving pipeline, to inform brand strategy, influence our customers and hence to maximise the potential for market/patient access and commercial return.
They will be the leading source of expertise and insight into National Payers within the UK with respect to relevant brands including responsibility for all submissions to NICE, SMC and AWMSG, as appropriate. To utilise this insight to represent the UK perspective in processes to ensure R&D plans for new assets will meet the needs of these customers.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Developing a deep expertise and insight into the requirements of national and local payer customers within the UK.
* Development and implementation of the strategy to ensure optimum positioning of brands within NICE, SMC and AWMSG guidance and NHS England specialised commissioning.
* Leadership of health outcomes activity to generate and publish high quality and timely data to support the access of a broad section of the GSK oncology portfolio to the UK market.
* To ensure that in collaboration with the brand team appropriate value messages, materials and tools are developed to drive market access for our oncology brands.
* To ensure that GSK is fully conversant with technical and analytical requirements for these groups and that our submissions, responses, tools and services meet appropriate technical standards.
* Developing and sharing best practice for observational research/real world evidence collection.
* Utilising expertise to inform UK assessments of key pipeline assets to inform R&D planning.
* Line management of health outcomes staff (grades between 6-8).
* Management and planning of future FTE requirements within the UK Health Outcomes oncology team.
Basic Qualifications:
* Degree level or equivalent in relevant subject area such as Health Economics, Statistics, Medicine, Public Health.
* Proven experience with leading on the strategy for NICE HTAs.
* Systematic understanding of Real-World Evidence collection and other health outcomes studies.
* Ability to demonstrate strategic thinking and cross-functional working.
* Leadership and Influencing experience up to UK senior management team level.
* Experience of direct line management or mentoring of health outcomes staff.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Relevant higher level specific qualifications e.g., MSc / PhD in Health Economics/Public Health/Epidemiology/Statistics.
* Excellent understanding of the NHS as well as prescribing and commissioning issues.
* Strong communication and influencing skills up to SVP/UK management team.
