This is an important support role within the company therefore our client is looking for someone who is a team player with positive energy, is well organised and is able to deliver a first-class service to tenants & landlords. A ‘want to learn’ attitude & positive mind-set will play a big part in our client’s decision process as will having the right personality fit to complement the existing small team. The role will involve supporting the team in all aspects of admin duties and will be varied as well as involving time spent in and out the office. A full clean UK Driver’s Licence is essential. ‘On the job training will be given’… Requirements & Duties Great communication skills on the phone and in person. Good IT skills and ability to quickly learn new systems (SME Professional, Google sheets etc.) Paying contractors and other invoices through the system. Being responsible for booking in safety certificates, organising/arranging them when they come in and overall control of this whole system. Dealing with changeover of utilities and council tax between tenancies Paying over deposits on new tenancies to the Tenancy Deposit Scheme and arranging corresponding documents to be emailed to tenants. Preparing inventory paperwork for the start of tenancies. Assigning the daily banking into the system and chasing for any unpaid rent. Preparing the monthly landlord statements to go out via the system. Prepare annual rental certificates for landlords. Answering accountant’s monthly queries. “One-off” admin projects as they come up. Arranging for keys to be cut and other relevant tasks in and out the office.
