Construction Buyer

Salary – up to £45,000 + benefits
This is your opportunity to join a leading construction contracting company who are seeking for a Construction Buyer to join their successful team on a permanent full time basis.
About you
* +2 years’ experience of working within a similar role – civils or construction experience
* Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
Working in partnership with the commercial team on projects you will
* Schedule delivery of plant & Materials to designated site compounds/ satellite offices
* Engage with new suppliers
* Control the processing and issuing of purchase orders
* Undertake cost negotiations and identify opportunities to make cost savings
* Carry-out and manage stock-taking duties
* Maintain up to date records including receipts for purchases
* Other adhoc duties
