OutThere RPO are supporting a client with their search for a Sales Manager or Head of Sales.
The overall purpose of this role is to understand, lead, inspire and embed yourself within the Sales, Account Management and New Business teams, working towards a 3-5 year scaling strategy for double-digit growth. Your primary objective is to get under the skin of all elements of the sales division and gain an understanding of pipeline opportunities while strategizing for the greater business plan. Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies that align with business goals and objectives.
2. Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to exceed performance targets and enhance overall effectiveness.
3. Identify new market opportunities and spearhead initiatives to drive business growth.
4. Prepare and present detailed sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports.
5. Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to ensure alignment on messaging and promotional strategies.
6. Implement training programs to continually develop the sales teams skills and product knowledge.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of managing successful sales teams.
2. Strong understanding of sales planning and strategy development.
3. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to drive strategic decisions.
5. Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
