We’re recruiting a CRM Systems Project Officer! Bring your passion for CRM and your enthusiasm for the not-for-profit sector to enhance our new Microsoft Dynamics CRM, while gaining valuable experience in a tech-driven environment!
More about the role
Blue Cross is dedicated to improving the lives of sick, injured, and homeless pets. We support over 40,000 animals each year through our veterinary services, rehoming programmes, and educational initiatives. Our mission is to make a real difference, and we’re looking for someone who shares this passion to join our team.
As a CRM Systems Project Officer, known internally at Blue Cross as a CRM Lead, you’ll play a crucial role as the liaison between our fundraising, communications and engagement (FCE) directorate and our CRM project team, in implementing our new Microsoft Dynamics CRM system to best reflect the needs of FCE. Your expertise will be key in designing and implementing workflows that enhance the supporter experience at every interaction.
Collaborating with our CRM Project Manager, Business Analysts, and Process Change Analysts, you’ll help create and refine these workflows to ensure they are seamless and impactful, driving meaningful engagement with our supporters.
Here’s a glimpse at what your week will look like:
* You will embrace our vision and guide the adoption of process changes within our Microsoft Dynamics CRM (internally called Central Platform), ensuring that these align with our operational roadmap.
* Coordinating and progressing the analysis work, you’ll document 'as-is/to-be' processes, making sure that requirements are clearly articulated and correlate with system changes.
* Working closely with the CRM team, you’ll ensure that our procedures are well-documented, version-controlled, and communicated effectively. You’ll also participate in change management and feasibility assessments.
* Building strong relationships across the organisation, you’ll facilitate continuous improvement by gathering and responding to stakeholder needs within our CRM and related technology systems.
* You’ll keep an eye on potential risks and issues, ensuring they’re communicated to the CRM project manager and addressed promptly.
* You will work with cross-functional teams, including IS and Data Insights, to ensure that our systems maintain high performance and that resources are effectively used.
About you:
We’re looking for a CRM Systems Project Officer who’s excited to bring their expertise to our team and help us make a real difference in the lives of our supporters. You’ll be a key player in shaping how we connect with and engage our supporters through our new Microsoft Dynamics CRM system.
You thrive in a collaborative environment where your insights and experience in supporter engagement can shine. With a strong background in process management and a passion for using technology to enhance relationships, you’ll play a crucial role in developing workflows that make every supporter feel valued and understood.
Your ability to communicate effectively and work closely with different teams will be essential as you guide us through this exciting transformation. We value someone who is not just technically skilled but also enthusiastic about driving positive change and improving how we connect with our supporters.
Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
* Recent graduate in Fundraising, Marketing, or a related field, or previous experience in a fundraising or related role.
* Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics CRM, either directly or as an end user, or involvement in Dynamics projects
* Demonstrated ability to manage processes and adapt to new technologies, particularly CRM systems.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.
* Experience in developing and implementing operational procedures and workflows.
* Confidence in creating and maintaining clear, concise documentation.
* Familiarity with CRM practices and emerging methodologies.
Desirable Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
* Understanding of the charitable sector and experience working with diverse teams.
* Knowledge of CRM systems, marketing tools, or animal welfare sector software.
