The Role

As a Passive Fire Surveyor, you'll be responsible for conducting site surveys across a variety of building types—including residential, commercial, and industrial premises. Your work will directly influence the planning and pricing of fire protection projects.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out detailed fire door, fire stopping, and compartmentation surveys.

Provide high-quality data capture using digital tools and record management systems.
*
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure survey accuracy and readiness for project delivery.
*
Offer informal guidance to clients on fire safety principles and improvements.
*
Conduct audits post-remediation to ensure quality assurance and compliance with scope.
*
Maximise access to properties and deliver high volumes of quality survey work.
*
Attend team meetings and maintain regular contact with your line manager and team.
*
Complete all relevant health & safety documentation and follow RAMS and safe systems of work.
Ideal Candidate Profile
*
Previous experience conducting passive fire surveys (fire doors/fire stopping essential).
*
BM Trada knowledge or third-party accreditation is desirable.
*
Excellent time management, accuracy, and attention to detail.
*
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to represent the business on-site.
*
Confident using digital software for logging survey results and reports.
*
UK driving licence essential (company vehicle provided).
