Key Responsibilities: Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging Science lessons for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 in line with the National Curriculum, with a specialization in Chemistry. Foster a love of learning and encourage students to explore scientific concepts with curiosity and enthusiasm. Develop and implement innovative curriculum initiatives that align with the school's vision and the latest advancements in science education. Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and challenged to reach their full potential. Build positive and supportive relationships with students, promoting a growth mindset and a belief in their scientific abilities. Play an active role in the department, including contributing to curriculum development, assessment strategies, and departmental meetings. The Ideal Candidate: A qualified Science Teacher with a demonstrable track record of success in engaging students and fostering their understanding of scientific concepts, particularly in Chemistry. Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for Science, with a strong understanding of chemical principles, theories, and practical skills. Strong pedagogical skills with the ability to deliver innovative and effective lessons that cater to diverse learning styles.
