Main Responsibilities
1. Air monitoring and airborne fibre counting
2. Inspection of contractors’ remediation work, signing off removal works or rejecting unsatisfactory removals as part of the 4SC process
3. Familiarity and compliance with all asbestos relevant legislation and guidance e.g HSE and construction
4. Maintaining your personal QHSE documentation and adhering to internal assurance processes
5. Providing a professional and courteous service to clients, answering any queries that they might have, as well as specialist advice and interpretation where necessary
6. Communication with clients, management, the Technical Support team and fellow team members
The Ideal Candidate
1. BOHS P403 and P404, equivalent RSPH qualifications or Certificate of Competence
2. Working knowledge of HSG:248 The Analysts’ Guide
3. Full UK driving licence (manual)
4. Flexible approach to travelling and out-of-hours working
5. Strong work ethic, with the ability to work effectively and intuitively alone or as part of a small team
