Job Requirements
We are seeking a skilled Semiconductor Equipment Maintenance Expert to join our team at IC Resources. This role involves working on a diverse range of projects, focusing on environmental, health, and safety practices that demonstrate our commitment to sustainability and responsibility.
The primary responsibilities of the Semiconductor Equipment Maintenance Expert include:
* Performing routine maintenance and repairs on machinery used in semi-conductor processing to ensure optimal system performance.
* Providing guidance and support to technician-level personnel, as well as Manufacturing Shift Leaders and manufacturing support staff.
* Sustaining, assessing, and improving uptimes of wafer fab processing equipment to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
* Communicating effectively with colleagues from other domains to ensure seamless collaboration and information sharing.
* Identifying and implementing cost reduction projects to enhance operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate for this role should have:
* A solid understanding of wafer fab processes within the semiconductor or cleanroom environment industry.
* The ability to diagnose and repair PCBs to component level, ensuring high-quality results.
* An electronics background with the ability to fault-find within tools to component level.
* The capacity to document processes and procedures to ensure information retention and sharing.
* Experience working effectively with equipment suppliers, subcontractors, and service engineers.
* The ability to work safely with tools containing acids, following established safety procedures when replacing valves and pumps involved in chemical dispensing.
* Excellent written, spoken, and planning skills to effectively communicate and manage tasks.
Please note that the successful Semiconductor Equipment Maintenance Expert will be required to work on a shift rotation basis.
