We are looking for a Science and Engineering Tutor to join our team.
The University of Nottingham International College is seeking to appoint a Science and Engineering Tutor with expertise in one or more of the following subject areas:
1. Biology
2. Chemistry
3. Mathematics
4. Physics
5. Statistics
This is a full-time role based on site at the College. Fractional appointments will be considered.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Tutor or Teacher, who is looking to expand their skills and build their career with an industry leader.
Science and Engineering Tutor - What you’ll bring to the role
You will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with international students, be student focused, be open to change and development, and be committed to ensuring our students’ success. You will need:
1. Experience of teaching to post 16 students (a teaching qualification would be an advantage)
2. The ability to plan, deliver and review a range of learning activities that guide and support students to achieve and flourish
3. The ability to develop and update innovative teaching material that engages all students
4. The ability to work collaboratively as part of a range of different teams and lead module co-ordination in order to continually improve the student experience
5. Flexibility and willingness to work under pressure to deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
6. A strong commitment to continuous professional development and a proven track record of using this to enhance the student experience
7. Demonstrable experience of using technology to inform teaching practice and a willingness to embrace innovations
8. A postgraduate qualification (strong first degree or relevant professional experience will be considered)
