Position: 2 x SEN Teaching Assistant Level 2 Status: 12 Months Fixed Term Hours: 32.5 hours per week TT 5 Days Salary: Grade D point 6 - 11 (pro rata per annum) Actual Salary 17,971 - 19,540 per annum Required from: ASAP The Governing Board of St Matthew s Primary School Bolton are seeking to appoint 2 suitably qualified Level 2 Teaching Assistants to work across classes of their successful 2 form entry, multicultural school. The role of the Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant is to monitor development and support children with their education under the direction of the Teacher. They are responsible for ensuring that the teaching environment is ready for teaching prior to the lesson commencing. The successful candidates are required to provide 1-1 support for children with an Education Health Care Plan which may include ASD, SLCN, C & L and PD. These candidates will need time to build up a trusting relationship with their children and be able to implement any therapy programmes required and attend any recommended training. They must be sympathetic to the values of a church school serving a multicultural community and be committed to raising achievement and developing our children holistically.
