We are on the hunt for enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants in Preston to provide essential support for our KS3 and KS4 students and teachers. This position offers a daily wage between £85 and £90, commensurate with your experience, qualifications, and teaching expertise.
In this role, you will work closely with students, assisting them with their academic work and fostering a positive learning environment. Your support will extend to both teachers and students, contributing to an enriched educational experience. Responsibilities include helping with classroom organisation, aiding in lesson delivery, and offering one-on-one or small group support to students as needed.

Responsibilities:
6. Reading, writing and SPAG support.
7. Adjusting or breaking down activities to support participation and understanding.
8. Develop a supportive relationship with the child that promotes self esteem and confidence.
9. To develop knowledge and understanding of the specific academic, physical, emotional and behavioural needs of the child and respond to them effectively.
10. To liaise with the Teacher and SENCO about the development and support needed at home and in school for the child.
11. To provide the whole class, small groups and 1:1 support.
12. Monitor and maintain records of the pupils progress.
13. To assist with general school duties which may include setting up classrooms, preparing resources and displays and tidying and clearing away
14. Supervision of children during lunch times and Supervision of children entering and leaving school premises.
Requirements:
15. Be comfortable and confident in managing challenging behaviours.
16. Ability to engage with, and build rapport with the students.
17. Be creative, proactive and flexible in their supporting style.
18. Have experience with SEN or knowledge learning difficulties.
19. TA qualified.
