The Family Connections team is looking for a Family Support Worker.
The team is made up of Family Support Workers and Social Workers, both managed by Team Leaders. The team is overall managed by Amy McKellar, Adoption & Fostering Manager.
As a Family Support Worker, you will work alongside Social Workers providing support to adoptive families and may also work directly with adoptive families, children, and birth family members affected by adoption.
You will also be asked to support families having indirect contact with children who have been placed for adoption.
Experience in dealing with members of the public in person and on the phone is important, as are good IT skills.
Hours: 35 hours per week

Salary: £29,016 - £36,024
