Nurture and grow relationships with corporate clients. Oversee the daily operations of all hotel departments to ensure a seamless and high-quality guest experience. Coordinate between departments to ensure smooth and efficient communication and collaboration. Lead, train, and manage department heads and staff to ensure exceptional service standards and performance. Drive operational efficiency while maintaining a high level of guest satisfaction. Ensure all guest-facing areas operate at a consistently high standard. Handle and resolve guest complaints or concerns, ensuring prompt and effective solutions. Ensure that all service touchpoints (check-in/check-out, room quality, food & beverage, etc.) meet or exceed guest expectations. Provide leadership and guidance to the hotel’s department managers, promoting teamwork and positive employee relations. Assist with recruitment, training, and development of staff, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to perform at their best. Conduct regular performance evaluations for team members and provide feedback for continuous improvement. Maintain high levels of staff morale and retention by fostering a positive work environment. Conduct regular safety checks and audits, addressing any potential risks or issues immediately. Regularly inspect the property to ensure high standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and operational procedures are being met. Conduct regular staff training and refresher courses to maintain high service standards. Skills and experience required to be a great Hotel Operations Manager: Proven experience in hotel operations management. Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills. In-depth knowledge of hotel management software Ability to analyse financial data and use it to drive decision-making. Exceptional organisational and time-management skills. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Experience in budget preparation, staff management, and cost control. A customer-centric approach with a focus on continuous improvement and excellence in service.
