HHELC - Working together to nurture life-long learners HHELC is a school based in Nottingham City which caters for pupils and young people with a range of medical or mental health needs. The school is located on four sites. We have an exciting opportunity for an administrator to join our team.This is a part-time position, working 30 hours/5 days per week.You will be based at our Secondary Pathways provision at Castle Road and will be joining a professional and dedicated admin team who work closely across our four sites, and occasionally support across our other provisions when required. We are looking for someone with a positive, can-do attitude who is approachable, friendly and professional.You will primarily provide admin support for Secondary Pathways, Pathway 4 and our SENCO whilst demonstrating confidentiality and adhering to our safeguarding and GDPR policies. You will also support with general admin duties as required. You will have good numeracy and communication skills both written and verbal as you will be in contact with a wide variety of stakeholders, including parents, social workers, SEN Team, attendance officers etc. Attention to detail and accuracy is required as you will be updating our MIS system Sims, and confidential student records, providing information and reports for our SLT, and assisting with invoicing Alternative Provisions.Whilst experience of working within a school environment is preferred, we feel the ‘right fit’ is crucial to our unique setting, therefore training and support will be provided for the right candidate. Do you have what it takes?Office experience including Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word and Outlook. Knowledge of SIMS and SEN would also be desirable, but training will be provided for the right applicant. Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to deal with staff, pupils, parents and visitors with empathy, tact and confidentially. The ability to work using your own initiative with a ‘can do’ attitude, and part of a team. Multitask and be able to prioritise. Accuracy and attention to detail. Comply with the appropriate Government, Local Authority (LA) and the school policies, procedures and systems.
