Support Worker - Christchurch
Part-Time (30 hours per week)
£12.19 per hour

Dimensions are seeking Support Workers to empower the independence of one gentleman we support to at his home in Christchurch near to the town centre.
The gentleman we support, who is in his 40’s and has learning disabilities and autism, is happy to meet a part-time Support Worker (30 hours per week). (Various shift patterns available pay rate of £12.19 per hour ). There may be a requirement to undertake sleep-in shifts ( paid at an allowance of £45 per shift ) in the future but this is not certain at present.
If you are new to Support Work this gentleman would be happy to see you and Dimensions will provide you with full training.
The gentleman we support gets out and about a lot. He’d like Support Workers who can help him with things such as:
1. Going out bird watching or if in town people watching
2. Trips to nature reserves such as Hengistbury Head
3. Days by the River Stour taking in all that Christchurch has to offer
4. Outings to the beach. Avon Beach is a particular favourite
The gentleman we support would like to meet a Support Worker who is happy to bring him fresh ideas of things to do and expand his horizons.
In addition to this, the gentleman we support will need assistance with day-to-day tasks which may include (but not be limited to)
5. Supporting him with his mobility (moving and handling)
6. Assistance with finances
7. Helping with meals
8. General household tasks
9. Providing support with personal care
