Gravity Stevenage is a trampoline park currently holding a vacancy for a Duty Manager / Supervisor with experience within the leisure industry. This is a 'Duty Manager' position. Job Summary -
Under the direction of the park management team, you will be responsible for the daily operations and for the staff on the park. You will also be responsible for ensuring all Marshalls are always delivering excellent customer service and for ensuring the safety of everyone, both customers and staff members, on site.
Key Responsibilities -
1. Site keyholder responsible for opening and closing, ensuring the completion of relevant checks (health, safety, and compliance). Banking responsibilities, cashing up, banking investigations.
2. Supporting the General Manager and Assistant General Manager in ensuring the daily operations run smoothly by managing a team of up to 20 Marshalls.
3. Training new and existing members of staff as required.
4. Maintaining the different activity sections on the park and reporting any faults to a senior member of the management team.
5. Acting as the Manager on Duty as required by the business.
6. Dealing with customer queries and complaints and ensuring a satisfactory outcome is achieved for both parties.
7. Effectively communicating to other members of staff what is expected of them in each area (Park, Reception, Cafe) within the site.
8. Delegating tasks to other members of staff to ensure the park is always clean and that all tasks are completed for each shift.
KPI's -
1. Achieving outstanding scores on the Mystery Customer Report.
2. Driving sales up by ensuring all staff members are upselling correctly.
3. Meeting performance-related monthly objectives.
