CTS is a Cottingham based manufacturing company, specialising in the design, supply and installation of Mechanical Handling Equipment for the Brewing and Distilling Industries.
To be the successful candidate you will have a background and understanding of manufacturing practices and will have experience in project delivery whilst being client facing.
Duties Include:
1. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
2. Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work
3. Strong problem-solving skills
4. Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
5. Proactively planning to prevent problems
6. Adhering to health and safety regulations
7. Completing paperwork accurately and on time
8. Assisting with site visits and surveys as required, including occasional overnight stays
9. General procurement such as purchasing raw materials and tools
10. Managing client relations
11. Support development projects to produce drawing packs and manufacturing information
12. Maintain existing drawing packs and manufacturing information product files to a high standard
13. Ensure information in product files is accurate, complete, and well-presented
14. Create detailed and assembly drawings for new products in a timely manner
15. Communicate effectively with other departments as needed
16. Producing costing and tenders
Role Requirements
1. Must have knowledge of welding and fabricating and workshop processes
2. Working CAD experience
3. Able to work from detailed engineering drawings
4. Have a good understanding of standards and terminology
5. Good management skills and a team working approach
6. IT skills: Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word and Excel
7. Grain handling and conveyor knowledge would be advantageous
8. Project Delivery experience
