The Head of Estates position provides an exciting opportunity to play a key role within the Trust and will cover all areas of a varied school estate – which includes two Grade II listed buildings.
Responsibilities:
* Manage all aspects of the Trust’s estate
* Provide long-term comprehensive and integrated resource planning for the Trust
* Provide effective leadership and management of health, safety and environmental matters for the Trust
* Focus on supporting the achievement of the Trust’s key corporate objectives in the development of the estate
* Ensure the estate is well managed and operationally effective, having in place robust and efficient systems and processes relating to all aspects of its activities
Person:
The successful candidate will have:
* Relevant senior management experience in estates and facilities management
* Understanding of general management techniques in a large and complex organisation and the ability to manage complex property estates and facilities portfolios
* Extensive knowledge of health and safety practices
