We are seeking a flexible and enthusiastic Primary School Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team in a vibrant school located in the CF24 area of Cardiff.
This dynamic role involves working across different year groups throughout the week, supporting where the need is greatest. You will be involved in a mix of 1:1 support, behavioural support, and general classroom assistance, so adaptability and a positive, proactive attitude are key.
What We’re Looking For:
* Someone with previous experience in a primary school setting (preferred but not essential)
* A calm and consistent approach to behaviour management
* A team player who can build strong relationships with pupils and staff
* The ability to adapt quickly to changing plans and different classroom environments
* A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a range of needs
* Assist the class teacher with general classroom duties
* Support positive behaviour management strategies
* Be a reliable and flexible presence across various year groups
* Help create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
