Our rocket engines and thrusters serve commercial, defence and science markets. In 2016 it was a Nammo UU engine that provided the insertion burn to allow NASA’s JUNO spacecraft to successfully enter orbit around Jupiter. We host the National Space Agency’s testing facility and work closely with the National and European Space Agencies on a range of projects. Our company operates across 2 sites in England - our manufacturing site in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire and our and design, testing and main office site in Westcott, Buckinghamshire. We are experiencing a period of growth with growing demand for both our products and our expertise. To support this we need to grow our team and we are currently focussing on growing our Engineering team. PURPOSE OF ROLE This role will provide administrative support to the Quality Team, including 'Goods In’, Export and calibration system control. CORE DUTIES This is a role which requires flexibility and an ability to meet ambitious and often fluctuating deadlines. The role will involve the following core duties: Update the 'goods in’ KPI report each Monday morning Enable access for delivery drivers/contractors Check and sign for deliveries Sort and dispatch goods received Check delivery paperwork is correct against the delivery and book on the goods receipt log if needed Label items with relevant GRN Scan in delivery paperwork and save on the G-Drive Ensure all associated files are up to date maintained in line with QA procedures and Generate goods in sheet and record information on the sheet Update relevant excel files with goods in information (e.g. import register, customer furnished item, shelf life register) Ensure appropriate dispersal and storage of goods received Book collections/shipments on the FedEx website or other courier e.g. Speedy freight Generate shipping documents (customs invoice and shipping note) Keep colleague/customer informed on the shipment by sending out shipping details Update export register with shipping information Check Fedex invoices against shipments and inform finance of the cost codes required Raise purchase order on the system against quotes (Ad-hoc for example for Lucy/Waj) Support in maintaining the Calibration register Other associated admin duties as required KEY REQUIREMENTS Skills & Experience Experience of Goods In process and best practice Experience of Export shipping (including control documents) Able to use main Microsoft packages to a high standard A positive attitude to work and a willingness to learn and develop.
