Responsibilities
We are looking for a Senior SAS Developer who truly wants to make an impact on our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, build and support, of SAS processes and reporting within the Group. They will also research alternative technical solutions for changing business needs and SAS customer base.
Working closely with the Manager-Data Services/Architect they will ensure the daily activities of the team meet the requirements of SLA and providing support for SAS customers by troubleshooting problems with SAS applications/ environment

Experience Requirements
• Strong communication and organisational skills and the ability to design, build and implement data solutions
• Ability to gain business knowledge and expertise on client's data and to make technical decisions and resolve any problems/issues that may rise during development
• Good project management skills with the ability to manage smaller technical projects
• Ability to map and document existing business processes
• Ability to take ownership and resolve issues
• Ability to understand and clearly communicate complex IT issues
• Experience of working with large datasets
• SAS migration experience (preferably from 9.3 to 9.4)
• Exposure to SAS administration on MS Windows Server
• BSc (Hons.) in a Mathematical / Science /Analytical subject
• Preferably a Financial services background
Skills
• SAS v9 preferably 9.3 with SAS EG (5.1, 7.1) experience
• SAS Modules experience: Macro, SQL, ODS, SAS Pass-Through (to MS SQL Server), SAS Stored Processes
• Exposure to SAS platform administration tools (Management Console and SAS Platform Suite)
• Experience in using SAS Data Integration Studio
• Familiar with in-memory reporting tools (QlikView, SAS Visual Analytics, SAS Visual Statistics)
QUALIFICATIONS
• SAS Certified Advanced Programmer for SAS9 or equivalent SAS programming experience
