Role- Sales Engineer/Business Development
Location – Northwest -Blackburn
Salary- £40 – 50k basic + profit related bonus
Company car, phone & Laptop
Hours – Mon- Fri days. Hybrid working is also an option
My client is a leading Steel Stockholder, currently looking to strengthen the team with the addition of a Business development professional.
Role and responsibilities:
* Drive new business by identification and research into new sales opportunities.
* Build and maintain contact databases.
* Establish contact and develop relationships with prospects.
* Maintains relationships with existing clients
* Provide regular, ongoing information on new products and services.
* Actively following up all quotations raised and providing feedback
* Gathering general customer feedback, market activities and competitor information
* Contributes to sales team effort by meeting individual and team sales targets & Gross Margin targets.
* Promotion of all products along with added value services
* Processing orders on the system and following orders through from start to completion.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Be confident on telephone with existing and potential clients
* Be confident in new business meetings face to face
* Be enthusiastic and energetic
