Ward B2 is a 17 bed male medical ward, caring for many different health conditions You will be part of a friendly, supportive, and professional integrated team comprising of consultants, Nurses, Occupational therapists, Physiotherapist, co-ordinators, advanced clinical practitioners, social services and community services to offer the best care for our patients in this acute setting. To provide high quality effective individualised care to all patients that is compassionate and caring To assess care needs and develop, implement and evaluate without supervision To keep up to date with skills and knowledge To comply with NMC professional registration and keep up to date with current nursing practices Be proficient in the delivery of care to patients Ensure safe administration of drugs in accordance to NMC and local policies Ensure accurate records are kept in accordance to Stockport NHS Foundation Trust Policy and NMC guidelines Carry out nursing procedures and techniques in accordance with agreed policies and standards Undertake regular mandatory training We hold a unique position in the Stockport community as the provider of healthcare and we are one of its largest employers.
