The treat their team respectfully, investing in ongoing training and skills development, they have an established and supportive team, making this an exceptional place to work What you will be doing: Reporting directly to the Calibration and Acceptance Team Leader, you will be responsible for undertaking all Calibration and Acceptance processes on a variety of ultrasonic instruments within a UKAS-accredited laboratory; Support & maintain the company’s (ISO 9001/ ISO14001/ ISO17025) quality procedures, standards and specifications. Ensure HS&E procedures are followed. Work with the Calibration and Acceptance Team Leader to achieve calibration and acceptance schedules and to meet Business Objectives. Undertake all Calibration and Acceptance procedures and accurately record all results. Maintain records, databases & paperwork in accordance with company procedures. Identify opportunities to continuously develop and improve Peak NDT’s calibration and acceptance procedures and specifications. Report Non-conformances, perform Root Cause Analysis when issues arise and ensure any lessons learned are appropriately documented. Undertake fault investigation and complete repairs where required. What we are looking for: Self-motivated & Team Player. Excellent interpersonal skills. Computer literate with a working knowledge of Excel & Word. Ideally have previous experience of working within a calibration/testing laboratory or similar. Candidates should hold a relevant engineering/electronics qualification or possess equivalent experience. Basic knowledge on the use of test equipment, i.e. multi-meters, oscilloscopes, function generators etc. would be beneficial. An understanding and appreciation of ISO and UKAS requirements would be beneficial. Note: Training would be provided in all of the above areas for the suitable candidate.
