Job Title: Project Manager - Asset Operations
Contract Length: 12 Months (Renewable)
Location: Hybrid (remote working with visits to site location 2/3 days per month - site locations will be in the north of England)
Daily Rate: Up to £600pd DOE (Inside IR35)

About the role
We are seeking a talented project manager to join the Asset Operations Technical Service & Delivery (TS&D) team. As an Asset Operations Project Manager, you will oversee and manage key projects within operations and be responsible for driving forward the project to meet deadlines.
The role involves being a member of, and supporting, the EDF Renewables asset operations team. You will also be working on a diverse portfolio of onshore and offshore wind, solar, storage, and private wire projects within the UK and Ireland.
What you will be doing day to day
1. Leading by example by maintaining the highest level of standards to comply with SHEQ requirements whilst taking care of both personal health and safety of others.
2. Challenging current thinking and processes to seek alternative methods to continuously improve standards and develop cases.
3. Supporting the Asset Operations department in finding robust and innovative solutions to meet EDFR technical requirements and other relevant standards.
4. Developing comprehensive project plans, including scopes, timelines, and budget forecasts.
5. Holding weekly and monthly meetings for the projects and capturing all actions.
6. Collaborating with CTO Engineers, contractors, area managers, and asset managers to define the project requirements.
7. Creating and maintaining detailed project schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks.
8. Ensuring milestones are met and promptly addressing delays or unforeseen issues.
9. Conducting regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure quality standards.
10. Providing regular progress updates to stakeholders, highlighting key milestones and any potential risks.
What do you need to be great at this role?
1. Proven leader successful in delivering projects, programs, establishing/managing relationships, securing and maintaining a safe environment, managing priorities, and inspiring and influencing behaviors.
2. Strong commitment to health, safety, and quality.
3. Experience of leading project teams effectively to deliver the project goals and objectives.
4. Comfortable communicating at a variety of levels in an appropriate level of detail.
5. NEBOSH or IOSH (or equivalent).
6. Excellent at building relationships with external partners, stakeholders, and reporting lines.
7. Flexible to travel around the UK and overseas as the role requires.
8. Full UK driving license.
