FPSO - Preparation for Operation / Asset Manager
OSM Thome is growing the business within the FPSO sector, and in preparation for these opportunities, we invite candidates for projects in Europe, Singapore and America:
Key Responsibilities:
* Responsible for the execution and performance of the FPSO Project
* Modification of FPSO topside and marine systems, as required, to field-specific requirements
* Ensure completion of preparations of the FPSO to operational mode and ready for first oil on location
* Oversee multidisciplinary teams, including engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operations personnel
* Manage contracts with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors, ensuring that deliverables are met within schedule and budget
* Oversee the operational integrity and performance of the FPSO to ensure continuous production uptime
* Ensure that the FPSO complies with all applicable local and international regulations, including maritime laws, HSE, environmental regulations, and industry standards
* Manage the financial performance of the FPSO, optimizing operational costs and ensuring the asset meets financial targets
* Monitor asset conditions through regular inspections, predictive maintenance, and real-time data
* Responsible for building up the FPSO Onshore Organisation at deployment location
* Responsible for manning of the FPSO crew
* Responsible for preparation and implementation of operational documentation and administrative systems
* Preparation of spares, services, and support for the operation of the FPSO
* Ensure safe transit to deployment field
* Manage hookup and startup of operation
* Obtain relevant operational approvals
Qualifications:
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Marine, Petroleum, or related fields). Extended practical experience in operation of FPSO’s may compensate for higher education
* Experience: 10+ years of FPSO experience in the oil and gas industry. Experience in asset management, operations, and maintenance is essential. Further, strong understanding of FPSO design, construction, installation, commissioning and regulatory requirements are required.
* Leadership Skills: Demonstrated leadership in managing large, cross-functional teams in high-stakes projects.
