This is a SEN Teaching Assistant position based in a specialist provision school in Hemel Hempstead, supporting Autistic children who require low support and have well to high cognitive abilities. A large part of the role is restorative.

The provision supports boys and girls with a range of additional needs associated with social and emotional mental health challenges. It employs a restorative, therapeutic approach to education and behaviour management, engaging children in key and personal skills that they can use in and out of school.
As a learning support assistant, you will be working in classes of 3-6 pupils with a staff-to-student ratio of 1:1.
