KCR Solutions are delighted to assisting our client as their search for a new Finance Manager. The role will sit within the Central Finance Function and will lead and direct the preparation of monthly management accounts and variance analysis that supports the Group Companies. The Finance Manager will be supporting the Head of Central Finance and will be pivotal in the development of the shared finance function. Managing a team of 2 and providing guidance and mentoring to the team.
Our client is based on the outskirts of Sunderland and operates a hybrid working model. This role will be split between the office location and remote working.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* Supporting the Head of Central Finance in delivering monthly management accounts
* Lead and manage a team ensuring effective communication, collaboration and performance.
* Set clear performance goals and conduct regular reviews
* Reviewing quarterly VAT returns including turnover reconciliations
* Supporting the payroll reconciliations for multiple companies within the group
* Take a lead role in the preparation of year end accounts for entities with the group and assistance with the year end audit and liaising with external auditors
