We are seeking an immediately available, experienced Procurement Professional to join our clients Edinburgh-based team. They are a leading investor, developer, and operator of renewable energy projects, committed to driving the UK and Europe towards net zero. This role is an initial 6-month contract and is OUTSIDE IR35. Key Responsibilities: Lead procurement services for corporate goods and services, ensuring effective delivery. Manage complex, high-risk, high-value procurement projects. Ensure compliance with the company's Procurement Policy, collaborating with various teams to implement and maintain it. Oversee reporting and reconciliation processes for the full procurement cycle. Maintain and update procurement trackers and registers and manage the Tender Management System. Administer the Contract Management System (CMS), ensuring alignment with the P2P system. Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers, ensuring their ongoing support and performance. Criteria: Proven experience in procuring general/corporate goods & services (non-engineering). Experience in renewables sectors. Undergraduate/Postgraduate qualification in business, procurement, supply chain, or a related field. Level 4 Diploma in Procurement and Supply (CIPS) or equivalent. Strong knowledge of procurement processes, tendering, and P2P systems. Proficient in MS Excel for data management and reporting. Experience in stakeholder engagement and supplier relationship management. Strong financial management and budgeting skills. Leadership experience in managing and developing teams. Ready to Join ?
