About the role
We’ve an exciting opportunity to join us as a Water Supply Manager (Capital Programme) across Essex & Suffolk.
In the role you will be expected to facilitate the delivery of our Capital Programme. Providing a strong link between Asset, Operations and Capital Delivery you will ensure schemes are delivered in line with operational and capital requirements through excellent working relationships, outages, and innovation. You will ensure you deliver the programmes via indirect leadership of Team Managers and their teams. This will require credibility, competency and relationship building at a variety of levels in the business.
You will ensure capital schemes will deliver as intended from an operational perspective, with the right risks balanced, through appropriate liaison and relationships between capital and operational teams. You will enable the capital programme through well planned outages as well as ensuring that the right risk is taken to enable outages. You will innovate to deliver difficult outages and ensure efficiency where appropriate.
You’ll also be part of a wider team of Water Supply Managers covering the Essex and Suffolk operating region.
You’ll work closely with internal and external stakeholders such as water quality, service planning, asset investment and maintenance. We’re looking for you to develop and maintain strong relationships with our capital project teams to ensure effective delivery of the agreed solution.
In the role we will provide you with development opportunities in Leadership, Project Delivery and Budget/Financial Management within Essex & Suffolk Water and more widely in the Northumbrian Water Group.
If you want to find out more about the role, please reach out to Chris Fulton, Head of Water Supply.
