An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Civil Project Manager to take on a key role within a leading provider of Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation Engineering Solutions. This position is based in Stockport, working on an EP&R project. Key Responsibilities: The Civil Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects, ensuring they are delivered within scope, time, and budget constraints. The role will require close collaboration with engineering teams, client interfaces, and construction management, alongside managing cross-functional teams. Develop comprehensive project plans covering schedules, budgets, and resource allocation. Manage all project phases from pre-construction to closeout. Track project progress and implement corrective measures where necessary. Lead and coordinate teams including engineers, subcontractors, and vendors. Maintain strong communication and collaboration between all stakeholders. Address and resolve conflicts or issues arising during project execution. Control and monitor project budgets, ensuring cost efficiency. Prepare and review project documentation such as contracts, permits, and reports. Provide regular status updates to senior management and key stakeholders. Candidate Profile: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (Master's preferred). Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Project Manager within civil construction. Proven ability to manage large-scale construction or EP&R/HV projects. Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, regulations, and safety standards. Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project or Primavera. Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills. Capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines. Familiarity with NERS scheme (training provided) and relevant Health & Safety qualifications (e.g., IOHS Managing Safely). Experience with BIM technologies and a solid grasp of engineering best practices.
