Are you a passionate and experienced Team Manager looking to make a real difference in the lives of disabled children and their families?
Wandsworth Council's Supporting Disabled Children Service is seeking two Team Managers to lead a dedicated team providing high-quality support to children and young people with disabilities. You will work closely with our Transitions Team, Preparing for Adulthood Service, in-house short break providers, health and education professionals, and voluntary sector partners to deliver outstanding support to children and their families.

The Role
As a Team Manager, you will:
✅ Lead and develop a team of social workers, ensuring high-quality, person-centred practice.
✅ Champion anti-racist and anti-oppressive practices, ensuring equity and inclusion for all children and families.
✅ Allocate and oversee cases, monitor performance, and provide professional supervision.
✅ Support and drive service improvements, ensuring families receive the best possible outcomes.
✅ Work in partnership with health, education, and voluntary sector organisations to deliver a holistic approach to support.
About You
✔ Social Work England-registered social worker with a completed ASYE.
✔ Proven leadership and management experience in children's social care.
✔ Strong knowledge of legislation, policy, and best practice related to children and families with disabilities.
✔ Passionate about improving services and championing best practices for disabled children.
✔ A strong team player who can work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to drive service improvements.
