We are collaborating with Taylor Root to find a seasoned Corporate Governance Specialist to oversee the company secretariat function for an international live entertainment organisation in London. As a key member of the General Counsel's team, this role will be responsible for managing the company's corporate governance and legal entity management.
The ideal candidate will have a law degree and significant experience working in a company secretarial function, preferably within a multi-jurisdictional organisation. They should possess excellent communication and relationship-building skills to influence stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.
This is a hybrid working opportunity with the expectation to be in the office 3 days per week. We estimate the annual salary for this position to be around £60,000 to £80,000 depending on the candidate's qualifications and experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date UK corporate registers for companies
* Compile and manage filing/documentation for international Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A)
* Support international business units with corporate documentation
* Assist finance and tax departments with entity maintenance (capital reduction, strike-offs, waivers, internal reorganisations)
* Develop and maintain comprehensive international structure charts and company information databases
Requirements:
* A law degree and ideally holding or pursuing the Chartered Governance Institute (CGI) qualification
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in a company secretarial function, preferably within a multinational organisation
* Excellent influencing and relationship-building skills to engage with individuals at all levels
