Internal Sales Technician Position Overview
We are seeking an Internal Sales Technician to provide sales support for product lines, parts, and accessories. The ideal candidate will have experience in a technical role, support position, or sales field with flexibility and initiative.
Responsibilities include:
* Issuing quotations for pumps, Engineered Packages, accessories, and replacement parts upon request.
* Ensuring accurate processing, dispatching, and invoicing of sales orders.
* Liaising with couriers and agreeing terms as required.
* Managing all day-to-day operational aspects of sales order entry.
* Providing general customer liaison via telephone and email as necessary (invoicing and delivery inquiries).
* Investigating problems and taking appropriate action, including arranging the return of faulty items using ISO 9001 procedures.
* Handling service inquiries and progressing jobs to invoice status in conjunction with operations.
* Maintaining quotation logs and following up on leads and quotes to maximize conversion into orders.
* Providing customer service in accordance with company policies, procedures, and ISO 9001 requirements.
* Collaborating with Engineering and Marketing groups as necessary to resolve customer needs.
* Attending product review and training sessions to maintain product knowledge.
* Maintaining confidentiality of all processed information.
Requirements for the Internal Sales Technician Role:
* Prior experience in a technical or sales position would be advantageous.
* A technical qualification in mechanical technology or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
* Familiarity with engineering principles, concepts, practices, and theories.
* At least one year of related experience.
* Working knowledge of SAP B1, Microsoft Windows, Excel, and Office Suite.
