Job Description
Elevation Recruitment Group are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Customer Quality Engineer to join a leading, highly regulated manufacturer in Bradford. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring customer satisfaction by driving quality excellence throughout the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the APQP process, ensuring customer requirements are met and deliverables are achieved on time.
* Manage customer complaints, warranty claims, and customer feedback effectively.
* Conduct audits, monitor quality performance, and implement corrective actions.
* Identify and mitigate potential quality risks.
* Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (engineering, manufacturing, supply chain) and customers.
* Ensure compliance with relevant quality standards (e.g., IATF 16949).
Qualifications & Experience:
1. Extensive experience in Quality within the automotive industry.
2. Proven experience with APQP/PPAP and quality tools (8D, 7-Steps, 5 Whys).
3. Strong understanding of automotive quality standards (e.g., IATF 16949).
4. Experience with Six Sigma and Lean methodologies is a plus.
5. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant quality software.
