Job Description
Planner will work within the Developments and Decommissioning Projects Team to produce and maintain project plans on a world-class field development and field decommissioning projects.
This is a challenging and diverse role where you will provide a complete planning service to multi-disciplinary project teams.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Build and maintain a number of project plans for key capital projects - subsea development and installation, drilling and completions, asset decommissioning, and facilities engineering.
2. Track and report common planning metrics, e.g., Progress 'S' Curves, lookaheads, monthly reports, etc.
3. Lead internal and external stakeholder engagement and workstream input to plan sessions and schedule review meetings.
4. Build and maintain project risk registers where required.
Person Specification
Essential:
1. Team player with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization, both onshore and offshore.
2. Able to work in a multi-discipline team environment and interface with different business departments.
3. Self-starter, with a positive attitude and able to work on own initiative & be proactive.
4. Willing to demonstrate flexibility.
5. Promote a culture of equality, diversity, and inclusion and commit to learning about developing inclusive cultures and eliminating blockers to diversity in the working environment.
6. Expert/proficient with Oracle Primavera and proficient with MS Project.
7. Experience in building and maintaining a project risk register/risk-based tools.
8. Ability to problem-solve and suggest solutions to resolve typical planning challenges related to project delivery.
9. Able to work unsupervised with strong organizational skills.
10. Multi-disciplinary experience preferably across asset, subsea, or engineering.
11. Ability to lead multi-disciplinary meetings.
12. Excellent communicator across functional and management teams.
Demonstrable track record in a similar role.
Preferred:
1. Previous offshore or site experience.
2. Degree qualified in project management, Mechanical/Process Engineering, or any other relevant technical discipline.
